Artifact Overview

As the interstate highway system expanded and automobiles became more reliable, the distance of the average automobile trip lengthened. Families traveling long hours looked for ways to occupy restless children while on the road. "Auto Bingo," c. 1965, was one of the many travel games and novelties that appeared on the market in the 1950s and 1960s.
