1955 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan

Summary

The Fairlane series represented Ford's premium trim level for 1955. Special chrome moldings along the bodysides and around the windows distinguished Fairlane models from less expensive Fords. The four-door Fairlane Town Sedan started at $1,960 for a six-cylinder model, and at $2,060 for one powered by a V-8. Ford built more than 254,000 Town Sedans that year.
