Summary

Henry Ford and tire magnate Harvey Firestone were longtime friends and business associates. From 1918 to 1924, they had gone on several camping trips with fellow "vagabonds" Thomas Edison and naturalist John Burroughs. When Ford visited Firestone at the old homestead near Columbiana, Ohio, (now in Greenfield Village) in 1936, the two legendary industrialists posed for photographs.
