Clara Ford died on September 29, 1950. The wife of the famous automobile pioneer and American industrialist, Henry Ford, had suffered a heart attack earlier in the year and her health had steadily declined. Clara was laid in repose at Fair Lane, her Dearborn, Michigan, home. Family buried her next to her husband in the Ford family cemetery in Detroit.
