Artifact Overview
Ray Dahlinger joined Ford Motor Company in 1907. He became a test driver and, to an extent, a personal driver for Henry Ford. About 1915, Dahlinger was appointed general manager of Ford Farms, Henry Ford's extensive agricultural properties in southeast Michigan. Dahlinger supervised landscaping at Greenfield Village during its construction in 1929. He retired in 1950.
