Frank Klingensmith joined Ford Motor Company as a bookkeeper in 1907, where he worked alongside general manager James Couzens. Five years later, Klingensmith took over responsibility for establishing branch assembly plants throughout the United States. He was elected Ford vice president and treasurer in 1915. Klingensmith resigned from Ford Motor Company in 1921.
