Edsel Ford (1893-1943), son of automotive industrialist Henry Ford, moved with his family into a new Albert Kahn-designed home they named Gaukler Point in Grosse Pointe Shores in 1929. This might be where this 1929 photograph was taken of Edsel and his wife Eleanor with their four children (left to right) Benson, William, Josephine, and Henry II.
