Artifact Overview

Gate 4 served as the main entrance to Ford Motor Company's massive Rouge factory complex in Dearborn, Michigan. The gate was connected to an employee parking lot via a pedestrian bridge that crossed Miller Road and a Detroit municipal streetcar line. After crossing the bridge to the plant, employees entered the factory complex by passing under the Rouge's print shop.
