Kinderpost Game, 1890-1928

At the turn of the twentieth century, children could imagine they ran a post office with this play set. Inside the box children found stamps, postcards, telegrams, mailing labels and other materials similar to those used in an adult post office. This role-playing provided children with valuable learning experiences and helped them develop social skills.
