Artifact Overview

In 1936, Robert "Bob" Wian, Jr. opened Bob's Pantry in Glendale, California. He later sold franchises of his "Big Boy" restaurants across the country. The franchises are famous for their double-decker hamburger and Big Boy statues. Souvenir merchandise featuring the famous Big Boy logo, like this bank, adds to sales and reinforces the brand.
