Rat Rods are low-budget, home-built cars having the bare essentials for driving. Most rat rods appear unfinished, whether they are or not. The name applied to these cars, "Rat Rod," originally was not a compliment. This 2011 rat rod sticker, however, shows that owners now have taken the term in a more positive light.
