The ever-adaptable Ford Model T proved suitable for taxicab service. This article from Ford Times, Ford Motor Company's magazine, relates the story of New York City cab driver Max Eller and his Model T taxi. Mr. Eller chose the T for the same reasons that many private owners favored the car: its low price and modest operating costs.
