Schoolwork by Edsel Ford, December 18-22, 1902

01

Artifact Overview

Edsel Ford, the only child of Henry and Clara Ford, attended the Farrand elementary school in Detroit, Michigan. Clara took an active interest in young Edsel's schooling and made sure he completed his homework on time. In December 1902, Edsel used this Christmas stocking-shaped assignment book for schoolwork. Like many doting parents, Henry and Clara saved these small bits of their child's accomplishments.
