Artifact Overview

Edsel Ford turned 15 years old in November 1908. He was an only child, so Edsel's parents -- Henry and Clara Ford -- made sure that he spent lots of time with his cousins and other extended-family members. When young Edsel wasn't in school, he could be found working at Ford Motor Company's Piquette Avenue plant in Detroit.
