In 2016, Hillary Clinton became the first woman nominated by a major political party for President of the United States. Clinton recruited 45 artists and graphic designers for a project to create political buttons for her campaign. (She would have been the forty-fifth president if elected.) Illustrator and graphic designer Scott Allen Hill drew inspiration from his 9-month-old daughter when creating this button.
