Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone, and John Burroughs embarked on many camping trips between 1916 and 1924. They called themselves the Vagabonds, yet they brought along numerous support staff to maintain camp. Pictured here, crew members Harry Linden, R.V. Kline, and Thomas Sato snack on watermelon given to the camping party by local residents in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
