Henry Austin Clark, Jr., collected more than 200 cars, trucks and firefighting vehicles throughout his lifetime. He partnered with Robert W. Dowling to open Carnival of Cars in 1954. Located in New York City's Times Square, the museum displayed a Stutz Bearcat, an Oldsmobile Curved Dash and a Simplex among other early automobiles. Carnival of Cars closed in 1955.
