Henry Ford collected objects well before he established his Edison Institute museum -- today's The Henry Ford -- in 1929. This photo, taken in December 1926, shows some of Mr. Ford's collection stored in Ford Motor Company's Engineering Laboratory. The Engineering Laboratory was next to the site where the museum would be built.
