Jeri Unser grew up watching her father, Bobby, and other family members race on Pikes Peak. In 1998 she became the first female Unser to challenge the mountain, earning Rookie of the Year honors. Five years later, she broke the Peak's record for electric vehicles with a time of 14:33.12. It was the 38th Pikes Peak win for the Unser family.
