Artifact Overview
Henry and Clara Ford rented a portion of this building on Detroit's Harper Avenue. With their son, Edsel, they made it home from September 1905 to May 1908. Henry was now president of Ford Motor Company. His firm's growing success ensured that when the Fords moved again, it would be into a house they built and owned themselves.
