The Greyhound was built in Wyandotte, Michigan, for the White Star Line. She was launched in 1902 and operated between Toledo and Detroit, stopping at Sugar Island on the Detroit River. With this route and occasional trips to recreational hotspots Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay, the Greyhound was popular with tourists.
