William Clay Ford Receives the Key to Heinz House from H. J. Heinz II, Greenfield Village, June 16, 1954
A young Henry J. Heinz began bottling his first product, horseradish, in his family’s Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania home. Heinz moved the house, by barge, to his company’s Pittsburgh factory in 1904. The house was relocated to Greenfield Village in 1954.
