- Road America 500 USRRC Sports Car Race, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, 1966--Item 471 - This 1966 Plymouth Barracuda took part in the Sports Car Club of America's 1966 Road America 500 at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. While the Barracuda, based on Plymouth's compact Valiant platform, appeared in sports car races -- Dan Gurney and Swede Savage were notable Barracuda drivers -- it was better known for its success on drag strips.

Road America 500 USRRC Sports Car Race, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, 1966--Item 471
This 1966 Plymouth Barracuda took part in the Sports Car Club of America's 1966 Road America 500 at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. While the Barracuda, based on Plymouth's compact Valiant platform, appeared in sports car races -- Dan Gurney and Swede Savage were notable Barracuda drivers -- it was better known for its success on drag strips.
- Mack Model AC Tank Truck at a Gas Station, June 1925 - Founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 1900, Mack Brothers Company relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania, in 1905 and adopted the name Mack Trucks in 1922. Mack-built tank trucks like this had separate compartments for gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, and other oil and petroleum products. The delivery trucks transported these products from distributors to gas stations.

Founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 1900, Mack Brothers Company relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania, in 1905 and adopted the name Mack Trucks in 1922. Mack-built tank trucks like this had separate compartments for gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, and other oil and petroleum products. The delivery trucks transported these products from distributors to gas stations.
