America’s Premier Holiday Celebration, Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village presented by Citizens, Returns Dec. 4, 2020

Tickets now on sale for members

(Dearborn, Mich. – Oct. 21, 2020) – Three hundred years of holiday traditions come to life during Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village presented by Citizens. Taking place December 4-6, 11-13, 15-23 and 26-28, this year’s event will continue to immerse guests with the sights, sounds, smells and magic of the season, while still being a safe and responsible experience. The celebration begins each evening at 6:30 pm – 10 pm, with members getting early access at 6 pm. Member tickets are now on sale, with non-member tickets available starting Wednesday, November 4, 2020. All tickets can be purchased at thf.org.

“Celebrating the holidays at Greenfield Village is a tradition for many families,” said Karen Minghine, Executive Vice President & Retail Banking Director, Citizens. “While the holidays may look different this year, we’re proud to partner with The Henry Ford to present Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village, and provide families a way to safely make memories this season.”

Unlike anything of its kind, Holiday Nights allows guests to experience the holidays throughout history and explore the origins of Christmas as a national holiday. As The Henry Ford continues to prioritize the health and safety of its guests and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was necessary to make important program modifications to Holiday Nights. While this year’s event will not include Model T or carriage rides, The Henry Ford has found unique ways to incorporate the vehicles and the musical experiences they provide into this year’s overall experience.

The halls of historic homes have been decked with festive decorations and guests will be able to gain inspiration for meals this holiday season with cooking demonstrations inside the historic kitchens. Live performances by the musicians and dozens of carolers will once again fill the streets of Greenfield Village. Santa returns to his post on top of Robert Frost home with his trusty reindeer.

For those who still have last minute Christmas shopping, gift options are available at The Henry Ford’s own Liberty Craftworks glass and pottery collection and even an ornament shop located on Main Street. Traditional balsam fir trees, selected wreaths and holiday greens are also available for purchase at the Greens Market through Dec. 23 located on Bagley and Main Street.

Families can complement their Holiday Nights evening with the enhanced dining experience of Supper with Santa inside Taste of History. Admission to the Holiday Nights program is included with each reservation. Tickets are $50.50 for members (12+), and $55.00 for non-members (12+), member youth (5-11) are $38.00, non-members (5-11) are $41.25 and member children (3-4) are $18.75 and non-member (3-4) are $18.75. Reservations can be made via the call center at 313-982-6001.
