Diversity and Inclusion Internship Program
Applications for Winter 2024 will open on September 29, 2023.
The Diversity and Inclusion Internship Program at The Henry Ford is a cohort-based program that offers engaging professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities. We invite candidates* who are curious about careers in the museum world to become a part of our legacy and take it forward. The most successful candidates will be collaborative, motivated, creative, and open to learning. All internships are paid and will last 10-15 weeks.
The purpose of the internship program is twofold:
- Offer opportunities to students and emerging professionals who identify with groups that are historically minoritized and underrepresented across the museum world.
- Invite interns to think outside of the box and explore their careers in ways they may not have considered before.
**Candidates who have a disability, identify as Black, Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Arab, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, Latino/a/x, LGBTQIA+, or who exist at the intersection of these identities are encouraged to apply. All submitted applications will be considered.
