Summary

Cleoda Davis fashioned a wagon from scrap wood and salvaged metal during World War II for his son Allen. Allen loved the wagon and played with it throughout his childhood in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Later, Allen's sons, Jeffrey and Patrick, and neighborhood friends found that same joy, speeding down the driveway or pulling the clattering wagon along the sidewalk.
