Checker Cab Manufacturing Corporation, the self-proclaimed "Builders of America's Finest Taxicabs," produced cabs in Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1922 to 1982. This image celebrates taxicab models built during the company's first 30 years in business. Checker's spacious, purpose-built cabs offered convenient point-to-point transportation to paying customers around the country.
