Lyft Glowstache, 2014-2015

Summary

The taxicab industry faced a serious challenge in the 2010s with the arrival of ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft. These companies used mobile apps to connect passengers with drivers who, generally, were independent contractors using their own vehicles. Lyft adopted a pink mustache as its trademark. Drivers put oversized mustaches on their cars to catch their passengers' attention.
