A summer buffet your whole family will love, in the best location in Greenfield Village — adjacent to the Village Green and carousel. Two service times, with open-table seating for up to 10 guests, provide the best flexibility for dining and program enjoyment. 

Buffet features summer themed menu of barbecued chicken breast (GF), hot dogs, hamburgers (GF without buns), condiments, baked beans (VG), coleslaw (V), pasta salad (V), potato chips (V), cookies(V) and soda and water. Vegan (VG) burgers are available on request. Menu is served buffet-style for consumption in The Lodge only.

Summer Salute Dinner includes buffet-style picnic dinner in The Lodge at Christie & Main and admission to Salute to America in Greenfield Village. Parking is $9 per vehicle for the public and free for members.

Tickets to the Summer Salute Dinner will be available to purchase online.  

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. ET on May 24 for members and May 31 for the public.

The last day to take advantage of Early Bird Pricing is June 19. Regular pricing will go into effect on June 20. 

Parking is $9 per vehicle for nonmembers and free for members.

What time will tickets go on sale?

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. ET on both member and public sale dates.

Members, we recommend testing your member login and password information before the start of the presale for the fastest and most convenient purchase process. Please also ensure that your membership is valid through the date you are planning to visit Salute to America.

Is there a guest-per-table requirement/limit?

This event has open seating. Tables in The Lodge at Christie & Main can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Can the dining packages accommodate my dietary restriction?

We can accommodate most dietary requirements, including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian substitutes.

Please be aware that our facilities are not food allergen- or gluten-free. Our food may contain or encounter common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. While we take steps to minimize risk and safely handle the foods that contain potential allergens, cross contamination may occur. Can I request a highchair?
All tickets/seats for children 5 and under will automatically come with a highchair or booster seat.
Where do I park for my reservation?
Since both seatings take place during the event, please proceed to park in one of our standard parking options outside Greenfield Village. Parking is free for members and $9 per vehicle for nonmembers.
Is carryout permitted?
No, carryout is not permitted.
Will there be a cash bar?
Yes, there will be a cash bar.
How do I make changes to my purchase?
All dining packages are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable. If you would like to add guests to your reservation, please make a separate dining purchase and note that you have an existing reservation, including the reservation number. If you believe you have made an error during the purchase process, please notify our Contact Center within 24 hours of your purchase.
