Dan Gurney and A. J. Foyt Celebrating Victory at the 24 Heures du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans) Race, June 1967

Summary

France's 24 Hours of Le Mans race put a tremendous strain not only on cars and engines, but on drivers. Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt traded shifts behind the wheel of their Ford Mark IV during the 1967 competition. While the two drivers were overjoyed after winning the event, their exhaustion showed in some post-race photographs.
