Summary

Originally in the steel fabrication business, the Minneapolis Steel and Machinery Company (MSM) began producing tractors in 1910. This successful venture evolved into Twin City, a popular line of lightweight tractors. Pictured here is a Twin City model tractor from 1920. MSM merged with other companies in 1929 to form the large tractor and farm machinery manufacturer Minneapolis-Moline.
