Summary

Edward J. Cutler designed leaded-glass windows before joining Ford Motor Company about 1915. Cutler's artistic background and attention to detail led Henry Ford to appoint him his historic-structures architect. Cutler oversaw the relocation and reassembly of antique buildings in Greenfield Village. He also designed new structures for the site like Martha-Mary Chapel and Town Hall.
