Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, 1964
Add to SetSummary
Zora Arkus-Duntov, the General Motors engineer remembered as the "Father of the Corvette," developed the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport to compete in GT sports car racing. Its appearance mirrored that of the production 1963 Corvette Sting Ray, but the Grand Sport weighed considerably less and boasted a 550-horsepower V-8 engine. GM built just five examples.
