Racing driver Jim Clark and Team Lotus principal Colin Chapman took a ride on the Magic Skyway in June 1965. Walt Disney designed the attraction for Ford Motor Company's pavilion at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. Clark and Chapman were in good spirits -- Clark had just won the Indianapolis 500 in a Ford-powered Lotus race car designed by Chapman.
