From break lines to windshield wiper tubing, these artists upcycle, repurpose, and create jewelry from old automotive parts. Meet the makers of Mend on the Move Jewelry at the Henry Ford Museum Store February 9 & 10 from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m.
Joanne Ewald, founder of Mend on the Move, trained herself to be one such entrepreneur, dignifying women abuse survivors to discover a renewed purpose for their lives. With automotive elements donated by local resources, her survivor-maker team is learning joy again.
