Autographed Portrait of Harold Lloyd Given to Henry Ford, circa 1932

Summary

Harold Lloyd made more films than Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton combined. His onscreen persona -- a bespectacled everyman and go-getter -- endeared Lloyd to his audiences and he became one of the highest paid stars of the late 1920s. Lloyd noted that his first car was a Ford on this autographed photograph to Henry Ford -- the famed automaker who made vehicles for the "everyman."
