Aerial View of Ford Motor Company Highland Park Plant, 1927

Summary

After it opened in 1910, the Highland Park plant became the heart of Ford Motor Company where millions of Model T cars were built on moving assembly lines. But in 1927, when this photo was taken, the Model T was canceled in favor of the new Model A, and Ford's major operations shifted to the nearby Rouge plant.
