    Explore a rotating collection of culturally significant vehicles. Currently featuring the 1966 Volkswagen Deluxe Station Wagon owned by Esau and Janie B. Jenkins. 

  • Pop-Up Exhibit | “How Long?”: Revisiting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and His Legacy
  • January 14 – August 31 

    The life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are often hidden behind the continual replaying of a few lines from his “I Have a Dream” speech. In fact, Dr. King’s real story — from unknown Baptist minister to American civil rights leader and international human rights spokesperson — is deeper, more subtle and more complex.

  • Tinkering for Tots
  • January - May 

    A program designed for curious preschoolers to develop an innovative mindset and make connections through storytelling, play, artifact exploration and a take-home STEAM activity kit.
  • Story Stroll

  • A program that combines movement and literacy, all while you explore the museum. Find the next stop to follow along and join us every month for a new book. 


Greenfield Village

Experience firsthand the sights, sounds and sensations of America’s fascinating formation, where over 80 acres brim with resourcefulness and ingenuity.

For the first time, this year we are hosting two evenings of our popular Twilight Bike Ride, August 16 and 17. On sale dates will be announced throughout the year. This event is exclusive to members.

Ford Rouge Factory Tour


Journey into the factory where automobile manufacturing as we know it came of age, and where the technology of tomorrow is on display today.
