Open Through June 2023 Explore a rotating collection of culturally significant vehicles. Currently featuring the 1966 Volkswagen Deluxe Station Wagon owned by Esau and Janie B. Jenkins.
The life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are often hidden behind the continual replaying of a few lines from his “I Have a Dream” speech. In fact, Dr. King’s real story — from unknown Baptist minister to American civil rights leader and international human rights spokesperson — is deeper, more subtle and more complex.
A program designed for curious preschoolers to develop an innovative mindset and make connections through storytelling, play, artifact exploration and a take-home STEAM activity kit.
