Dan Gurney and Phil Remington made a formidable team. Gurney was one of the best all-around drivers of his era, and Remington was perhaps the most talented fabricator in racing. Both were vital to Ford's GT racing program. Later, Remington joined Gurney's All American Racers, building everything from Indy cars to motorcycles and working full-time into his 90s.
